Primary agents · launched Aug–Oct 2026
The always-on agents, wired to HighLevel
Each of these runs on its own cloud computer, checks your accounts on a schedule and messages you when something needs a decision. None publishes a custom MCP setting yet, so each card shows the route that works today.
Tool
Setup builder
Pick an agent, a job and how much it may do. You get the connection route, the smallest scope list, a config that reads your token from a secure place, a test prompt and guardrails. It never asks for a token or ID.
Use cases
Running a GHL business with external agents
Built-in HighLevel AI answers calls and chats. External agents work across your whole stack, keep watch overnight and report to you wherever you are. These playbooks show who does what.
Always on
Checks leads, pipeline and inbox every few hours on its own computer, even with your laptop closed.
Across tools
Reads HighLevel, Gmail, Slack, QuickBooks and Stripe in one pass, so the summary reflects the whole business.
Your model
Use Claude, GPT, Grok or Muse for the job each does best, on the same CRM data.
You approve
Agents draft and you tap approve from your phone before anything reaches a customer.
New · Founder OS
A daily business OS inside HighLevel, run by your agents
One screen in your GHL menu for today's numbers, the morning brief, drafts waiting for approval and a daily rhythm. Twelve setup questions turn your revenue goal into daily lead and booking targets.
- Snapshot installs the pipeline, 8 playbook workflows, tags, fields and calendar
- Opens as a custom menu link, so it lives where you already work
- Works with Duet, Dots, Grok Bot, Muse and Hermes, or no agents at all
The Founders tier
What the top HighLevel plan gives an agent builder
HighLevel's $497/month tier is Agency Pro today, and reports say it becomes the Founders Plan at LevelUp 2026. These are the parts of that tier that matter when your product is AI agents. Follow the live Founders Plan tracker.
Unlimited sub-accounts
Spin up one sub-account per client, each with its own agents, knowledge base and MCP token.
SaaS Mode
Sell your agent stack as a subscription with automated account creation and your own branding.
Rebill AI usage with markup
Pass Voice AI, Conversation AI and token usage to clients at your price instead of eating it.
AI Studio + Agent Studio
Generate sites and apps from prompts, then build Superagents that call external MCP apps.
Advanced API + MCP
Private Integration Tokens unlock the HighLevel MCP server for any external agent.
White-label everything
Desktop app, domains and client portal under your agency brand.
Primary feature
Building in AI Studio
AI Studio is HighLevel's prompt-to-product builder. It creates sites, landing pages, forms, surveys, booking pages and small web apps, then wires them into your CRM.
- Turn it onOpen a sub-account. Enable AI Studio in Labs if it isn't on, then click AI Studio in the left nav.
- Describe the buildPrompt the page or app. When it needs an account choice, like which calendar to attach, it pauses and asks.
- Connect and publishMap forms to CRM tracking so submissions trigger workflows, run the SEO pass, then attach a custom domain.
Agent-builder notes
- AI Studio vs Agent Studio: AI Studio builds front-ends. Agent Studio builds Superagents that act. They are separate tools.
- Full-stack beta: new projects run on TanStack Start with server functions, REST endpoints and a secrets vault for API keys (private beta).
- Billing: the free promo period has ended. Usage banners appear at 70, 85 and 100% of allocation.
- Agent Studio connectors: Superagents can use MCP app connectors such as Stripe, ClickUp, Airtable, Supabase, Firecrawl and Composio (1,000+ tools).
- Agent pattern: AI Studio page → form → workflow → Superagent or Voice AI follows up. All four stay inside one sub-account.
Connection hub · 26 platforms
Connect HighLevel to any agent in 1-2-3
Snippets read your token from an environment variable, a secure prompt or the tool's credential store, so it never sits in a shared file. Create it in the sub-account under Settings → Private Integrations. The HighLevel MCP server authenticates with two headers: Authorization: Bearer <token> and an optional locationId. Clients that let you set headers connect directly. Chat apps that only accept a URL and OAuth need a small bridge.

FAQ
Questions agencies ask first
Which always-on agent should I start with?
Meta Muse if you want official HighLevel MCP tools today. ChatGPT Dots or Claude Duet if you already pay for Pro or Max and are happy routing through Composio or Zapier. Grok Bot and Hark work through a browser login, which is flexible but breaks when screens change. Instinct is strong for texting-first owners, but read its data terms before connecting client accounts.
Is it safe to give an agent my HighLevel login?
Don't give it yours. Create a dedicated staff user per agent with only the permissions its job needs, turn on approval for anything customer-facing, and review the audit log weekly. For API tokens, use one token per sub-account and rotate it if a device or repo is ever exposed.
Why doesn't this site ask for my token?
A token typed into any web page can be logged, cached or captured by a browser extension. The setup builder writes configs that read the token from your machine's environment, a password prompt or the tool's own credential store instead.
What is the HighLevel MCP server?
A hosted Model Context Protocol endpoint at https://services.leadconnectorhq.com/mcp/ that lets AI agents read and act on contacts, conversations, calendars, opportunities, payments, locations and custom fields. Which tools an agent sees depends on the scopes on your Private Integration Token.
Why do some platforms say "Bridge"?
Consumer chat apps (claude.ai, ChatGPT, grok.com, Gemini, Perplexity, Le Chat) add connectors by URL and usually expect OAuth. HighLevel's MCP uses a bearer token in a header instead. A bridge is a tiny proxy you host (Cloudflare Worker, Railway, Render) that adds the headers and exposes a URL the chat app can use. Zapier MCP and Composio are no-code alternatives.
Is the locationId header required?
No. HighLevel lists it as optional; you can pass the location ID in your prompt instead. Hard-coding it is safer for single-client setups because the agent can't wander into another sub-account.
Can a localhost MCP server work with ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini or Muse?
No. Those run in the vendor's cloud and need a public HTTPS URL. Local stdio servers work only with desktop and CLI clients such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI and Hermes Agent.
What's the difference between connecting an agent to HighLevel and HighLevel to an agent?
Inbound: an outside agent (Claude, Grok, Hermes) calls HighLevel through the MCP server. Outbound: a HighLevel Superagent in Agent Studio calls outside apps through MCP connectors. Most agency builds use both.
Does ChatGPT need a paid plan for custom MCP?
Yes. Custom MCP apps require Developer mode, and OpenAI has changed plan eligibility and toggle location several times in 2026. Check Settings → Security, or Apps & Connectors → Advanced, on chatgpt.com.
Is this site affiliated with HighLevel?
No. This is an independent resource. Links to HighLevel may be affiliate links, which cost you nothing extra.
Which platform should a new Founders agency start with?
Claude Code or Cursor for building and testing (direct headers, fastest feedback), n8n for production automations, and Agent Studio Superagents for client-facing work that should live inside the sub-account.
